Job Title:

Maintenance and Landscaping Professional

This position is a part-time opportunity that involves maintaining the grounds of a lifestyle village. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the village's outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.

About the Role:

The Grounds Maintenance Person will be required to perform general maintenance tasks such as gardening, waste management, and pool cleaning. They will also provide limited maintenance services for cabins and equipment under the direction of the site manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine gardening tasks to maintain the appearance of the village grounds
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies
  • Clean and test the swimming pool as required
  • Provide basic maintenance services for cabins and equipment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should also have personal maintenance skills and hold relevant certificates (such as Working at Heights, Chainsaw, Test and Tag). First Aid Certificate and Police Clearance are highly regarded.

Key Skills:

  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Prior maintenance experience (preferably 1 year)
  • Full Driver Licence (preferred)

Benefits:

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of up to $28.00 per hour. The working hours are 24 per week, scheduled on a day shift basis.
