Transmission Infrastructure Leader

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager and lead the Transmission Lines team in delivering a major renewable energy project. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the structural assembly and erection of transmission tower structures, ensuring safe and efficient work that complies with project specifications, industry standards, and company policies.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure integration of quality, environmental, and safety procedures, including WH&S compliance, defect resolution, and promoting a culture of safety among project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Implement and enforce the Project Safety Plan, monitor high-risk activities, investigate incidents, and liaise with safety authorities to maintain a safe working environment.
- Manage transmission line construction activities, ensuring work aligns with schedules, budgets, and technical specifications while coordinating teams and resolving on-site issues.
- Oversee foundation works, tower erection, and conductor stringing, ensuring adherence to design criteria and best practices while leading site teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure efficient allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials, coordinating logistics to prevent project delays and optimizing supply chain operations.
- Monitor project progress, maintain schedules, prepare status reports, and resolve project challenges to meet deadlines and milestones.
- 10 years' experience in a construction/engineering environment (preferred)
- Experience in high-voltage transmission projects (330 kV and above) is an advantage
- Expertise in foundation construction, tower erection and conductor stringing
- Ability to work effectively with others

- Understanding of health, safety, and environment requirements
