We are seeking an experienced and passionate educational leader to join our team as a Director of Learning and Development. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who wants to drive quality education and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and mentoring a high-performing team. They will work closely with the Centre Director to support daily operations, develop and implement educational programs, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Centre Director with strategic planning, policy development, and implementation
  • Leading the development and implementation of educational programs that promote children's learning and development
  • Mentoring educators to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Ensuring the centre maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families. You should also be passionate about ongoing learning and professional development.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Minimum 6 months' experience as an Educational Leader or in a leadership role
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training
  • Child Protection Certificate
  • Experience or interest in a leadership/management pathway
