Centre Leader Position

The role of Centre Leader is a dynamic and challenging position that requires an individual with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.

As a key member of the Thrive team, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated group of educators in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-6 years.

  • Oversee the daily operations of the centre, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children and staff.
  • Guide and mentor a team of educators in their professional development, supporting them in achieving excellence in their practice.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community, promoting a sense of belonging and connection.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that reflect the centre's values and mission.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Teaching (or equivalent) or Diploma qualification in early childhood education.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and technology skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
