About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (MEI) Engineer to join our team as a Project Engineer for the North East Link project. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the mechanical aspects of the project, contributing to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure systems in road tunnels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Lifecycle Management: Lead and contribute to all phases of the project, from preliminary planning and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover of MVAC, TVS, Hydraulics, and Wet Fire systems.
  • Procurement & Contract Management: Manage the successful delivery of MEI packages, including drafting and managing tender documentation, evaluating tenders, and overseeing subcontractor contracts to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • System Design & Engineering: Review design documents, perform constructability and commissioning reviews, and ensure compliance with project-specific requirements, codes, and regulations while optimizing project performance.
  • Project Delivery & Management: Develop and submit construction and commissioning work packs, manage subcontractor budgets, and ensure seamless coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and innovative solutions to onsite technical issues.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct quality assurance inspections and prepare documentation to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably in the infrastructure or construction industry.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
  • Strong project management skills and a deep understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
