Electrical Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Senior Project Engineer to join our team at Spark NEL DC. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing all phases of the project life cycle, from preliminary planning and procurement to construction, commissioning, and handover of Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (MEI) systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of the project life cycle, including preliminary planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover of MEI systems.
- Oversee the successful delivery of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems, lighting, communication, fibre, and other electrical ITS packages.
- Develop and submit construction/commissioning work packs in conjunction with subcontractors' scope of works.
- Manage subcontractor & supply chain budgets, forecasts, resources, and timelines to meet client expectations and project objectives.
- Communicate with internal disciplines, design team, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities/regulators to ensure satisfactory completion of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics, control, communication engineering, or a relevant field. Masters degree is desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years' extensive experience in construction on large infrastructure projects. Road tunnels are desirable.
- Experience on > $50 M Projects
- Excellent communication skills to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
- Leadership skills to inspire and mentor a team of engineers.
- Ability to multitask and implement innovative processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Problem-solving skills to overcome challenges with creative solutions.
