Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate pharmacist to join our team in Nhill. West Wimmera Health Service provides high-quality hospital care and residential aged care services to over 22,000 people in the region.

About the Role

The role involves providing a range of clinical pharmaceutical services to consumers across multiple health facilities. As a sole pharmacist, you will be responsible for distributing medications, dispensing prescriptions, and liaising with medical and nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to consumers
  • Distribute medications throughout the health service
  • Dispense medications by packaging and labelling pharmaceuticals
  • Liaise with medical and nursing staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent)
  • Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated ability to function with honesty and integrity
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
