Opportunity Summary

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to consolidate their surgical skills in a general gynaecology unit, prior to entering specialist practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide excellent experience in antenatal and intrapartum care, including ultrasound and labour ward management.
  • To develop surgical skills in a general gynaecology unit, preparing for specialist practice.
  • To work closely with a visiting sub-specialist in gynae-oncology, gaining valuable knowledge and experience.

Benefits

This position offers a salary range of $134,930 - $189,005 per annum, as per the Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022. The role is RANZCOG accredited and includes opportunities to complete multiple ATMs and Pathway Modules.

This position is part of a broader range of volunteer and training opportunities coordinated through AVP, AVI, RANZCOG, and related partners. The successful applicant may also have opportunities to work in rural generalist O&G practice, with potential for theatre lists, labour ward experience, and gynaecology clinics.
