Student Support

We have a strong focus on supporting students with additional needs, including a Mental Health in Primary Schools Inclusion Leader to coordinate supportive structures. Our school also provides OT and Speech Therapy to identified students.

Leadership Team

Our leadership team includes a Principal, three Assistant Principals, and two Leading Teachers who provide curriculum support and implement a Mentoring/Coaching/Peer Observation program to build teacher capacity.

As a Classroom Teacher Range 1, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that values collaboration, professional learning, and student growth.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and implementing teaching programs or courses of study
  • Teaching an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas
  • Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes

You will also have opportunities to participate in co-curricular programs and contribute to the development of school policies and programs.

Professional Development

As a Graduate Teacher, you will receive structured support, mentoring, and guidance from teachers at higher levels. You will also have access to professional learning activities and induction programs to ensure the integration of curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy across the school.
