Job Summary

The Fleet Management Opportunity is a critical role in overseeing the management and maintenance of a transport fleet. As a key player, you will be responsible for leading contract negotiations with external providers, advising internal stakeholders on transport matters, and ensuring compliance with Victorian State Government Vehicle Policy.

This fixed-term, part-time opportunity is based at the State Logistics Centre in Scoresby. The successful candidate will oversee contract management, develop business rules and processes, and support regional and district fleet focal points with best practice guidance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing fleet databases, including SAP and RMS
  • Coordinating annual vehicle registrations and managing fuel cards and toll accounts
  • Supporting the development and implementation of fleet business rules and processes
About You
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in fleet management, particularly with Victorian State Government Vehicle Policy and VicRoads systems
  • Excellent decision-making and negotiation skills, with sound commercial and business acumen
