Fleet Manager

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a fleet, including scheduling and allocation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of OH&S, CoR & NHVR regulations, as well as experience with SAP, MT Data, WMS or TMS systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily Operations Oversight: Manage the day-to-day activities of the fleet, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to safety standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders.
- Communication and Planning: Coordinate effectively with drivers and customers around planning, runs, and delays.
- Efficiency Enhancement: Conduct proactive assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage payroll, driver performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing.
- Load Planning and Optimization: Utilize analytical skills to optimize load planning and reduce costs.
- Experience: Proven track record in a Fleet Supervisor or Controller role within transport & logistics.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of OH&S, CoR & NHVR regulations.
- Technical Skills: Experience with SAP, MT Data, WMS or TMS systems.
- Prioritization and Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and excellent communication skills.
