Product Manager Opportunity

Oryx People Automotive is seeking a skilled Product Manager to join their team in Sydney. As a key player in the product management department, you will be responsible for introducing and managing new electric vehicles and enhancements to the current and future model line-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Assist in launching new vehicles in the passenger vehicle segment, ensuring they meet market demands.
  • Communication & Product Launches: Create and distribute engaging product bulletins across the dealer network, and assist in delivering compelling presentations to automotive press and industry stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with marketing, finance, and external suppliers to ensure alignment on product timelines and business objectives, supporting seamless product launches.
  • Market Analysis & Product Positioning: Conduct in-depth market research, identifying trends, customer demands, and competitive positioning. Use this analysis to guide product development and ensure the vehicles are ahead of the curve in the electric vehicle industry.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 year's experience in product planning / product management, particularly in automotive or related industries
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders and creating product materials
  • Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and suppliers
  • Analytical mindset with experience in market research and trend analysis
  • Passion for electric vehicles and sustainable technologies
