Job Role

The Justice Officer functions as a vital cog in maintaining a safe and supportive prison environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial services, including warehousing, finance support, purchasing, procurement, stock/inventory control, general administration, and various other duties.
  • Serve prisoners in shops/canteens while supervising prisoner workers, ordering stock, maintaining minimum stock levels, securing shop stock, and ensuring cleanliness and order.
  • Work collaboratively and respectfully within a dedicated team framework featuring task responsibilities according to this position description.
Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Well-developed computer skills and experience with Oracle or similar systems.
  • Understanding of shop, store, and warehousing operations, including associated stock management.
