Transforming Australia's digital landscape as a Customer Field Technician involves more than just installing, repairing and maintaining nbn products and services. It requires exceptional customer service skills, honesty and integrity, as well as being self-managed and motivated.
This autonomous role is vital to delivering exceptional customer service within your daily tasks, which may include:
- Cabling installation (copper and fibre) including jointing, jumpering and splicing
- Customer premises installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
- Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and nbn CPE
A large part of this role is working in customers' premises, so strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers effectively.
The successful candidate will also have a current and clean driver's licence and be able to work flexibly between 7am and 7pm based on business needs.
This full-time permanent position offers opportunities for technical training and professional development, leadership programs and access to the latest technology.
