About Our Butcher Role

At our stores, we are looking for a skilled butcher to join our team. As a key member of our store, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of meat preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cut, trim, bone, and portion meat products to specifications.
  • Produce sausages, crumbed products, overwrap & customer convenience offerings.
  • Presentation and packaging of products must be to the highest standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area.
  • Provide excellent service and advice to customers.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.

About You:

  • You should have proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter.
  • A sound knowledge of meat preparation, hygiene, and safety procedures is essential.
  • Excellent knife skills and attention to detail are necessary.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team is crucial.
  • A relevant trade qualification is preferred.
