About the Role
Chandler Macleod is seeking a highly skilled Work Health Specialist to join our team. As a Work Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting a healthy workforce and ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective Work Health and Safety (WHS) management systems to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough investigations into workplace incidents and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Design and deliver WHS training programs to educate employees on safe work practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate WHS risks, and develop initiatives to promote a healthy workforce.
- Monitor and report on WHS performance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field, or equivalent experience in a WHS or risk management role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing WHS management systems, and conducting investigations into workplace incidents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex WHS data and develop effective strategies to mitigate risks.
- Current unrestricted Australian driver's license, subject to obtaining a NSW driver's license within 3 months of appointment.
