About the Role

The Career Opportunity exists for a Cloud Engineer to contribute to the maintenance of the integrity of the aged care system.

This role involves leveraging expertise in cloud services (Azure/AWS), infrastructure, server management, and database administration.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cloud Administration: Managing and administering MS Cloud services (Identity, Exchange, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Network Infrastructure: Participating in the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud network infrastructure.
  • Technical Support: Providing technical guidance on cloud computing security requirements and supporting new technology implementations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Security Compliance: Collaborating with IT Security to align SOE security hardening with PSPF, ISM, ACSC, CIS, and DTA Protected pattern guidelines.
  • Automation Deployment: Developing and enhancing automated processes for reliable solution deployment; managing application packaging and deployment via Intune with IT Security endorsement.
  • Device Evaluations System Monitoring: Participating in ICT Operations device evaluations and ensuring applications and infrastructure perform efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Microsoft Azure and 365 training and certifications are desirable.
  • Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation including system designs and governance, change requests, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Experience in overseeing system upgrades and rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Ability to provide effective training to users and promote system proficiency.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, prioritization, and incident management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to contribute to projects and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
