Job Title: Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Registration Clerk in our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and reschedule patient appointments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain and update provider schedules accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage phone calls, screen inquiries, and provide relevant information to callers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Confirm appointments with patients through various communication channels.
  • Assemble and create comprehensive patient charts that include all necessary information.
  • Conduct personal interviews to collect demographic and insurance information from patients, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Obtain required signatures on legal consents and insurance forms, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Verify coverage with insurers to ensure timely reimbursement for services provided.
  • Make adjustments to claims classification as necessary, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
  • Answer patient inquiries regarding regulations and services offered by our organization.

Additional Tasks:

  • Perform exit billing discussions with patients to ensure clear understanding of fees and charges.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
