Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Retail Sales Consultant to join our team at Snooze Springvale. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers, providing expert sleep solutions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement
    • Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences
    • Provide expert advice on bedroom solutions, including mattresses, bedding, and furniture
  • Store Operations
    • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
    • Merchandise bedrooms, lift stock, operate computers, and walk the floor to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Communication
    • Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues
    • Use a computer to process sales, manage inventory, and access customer information

Requirements

  • Language Skills
    • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is preferred but not essential
  • Retail Experience
    • Retail experience in selling big ticket items is preferred but not essential
  • Customer-Centric Behaviours
    • Customer-centric behaviours, including a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Communication Skills
    • Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Physical Abilities
    • The necessary fitness to walk the floor throughout the day and the physical strength to carry heavy stock safely, from time to time
