We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Counsellor/Case Manager to join our team. As a Children's Family Violence Counsellor, you will play a vital role in providing trauma-informed assistance to children, families, and individuals impacted by family violence.

The successful applicant will receive regular individual supervision and professional development opportunities. You will work in a collegial environment with a supportive approach to risk and debriefing.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Understanding of the impacts of family violence on children and their development
  • Ability to work with children and young people, adapting service delivery to individual needs
  • Capacity to provide referrals to specialist services when required
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • Ability to assess risk and safety plan for individuals and families where family violence is present
