About the Role:

  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections to ensure vehicles meet high standards.">
  • Roadworthy Certification: Perform required roadworthy checks and ensure all vehicles meet compliance standards.">
  • Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs, including brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and suspension work.">
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless workflow and high customer satisfaction.">
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all inspections, repairs, and certifications completed.">
  • Quality Control: Perform final checks and quality control before vehicle handover.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Roadworthy Certification: A valid RWC licence is highly desired for roadworthy checks.">
  • Mechanical Expertise: Proven experience as a Roadworthy Mechanic with strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools.">
  • Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for identifying issues and defects.">
  • Problem Solving: Confident in diagnosing and solving mechanical issues.">
  • Team Player: Positive and productive team environment.">
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication with team members and customers.">

Qualifications:

  • Formal automotive qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology) and/or current RWC Licence are essential.">
  • Trade qualification (Australian Apprenticeship) or Trade qualification (completed trade recognition at TAFE or Equivalent Institution).">
