Seeking an experienced and innovative Tailings/Geotechnical Engineer to manage projects and contribute to our team.
The role involves supporting clients in ensuring their tailings and mine waste management facilities are safe and compliant with latest standards.
- Design of civil/geotechnical/tailing dams;
- Geotechnical analyses using software packages;
- Understanding of tailing deposition modelling (Muk3D);
- Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation;
- Development of instrumentation monitoring systems;
- Project/task management and proposal preparation support;
- Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications;
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver geotechnical solutions for clients;
- Manage projects from initiation to completion;
- Develop and implement monitoring systems;
- Provide technical support to project teams;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field;
- 5 to 10+ years of consulting experience operating within a geotechnical practice group;
- Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software;
