Job Title: Lead Perfusionist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Perfusionist to join our team at Searson Buck. As a key member of our Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality perfusion services to our patients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in perfusion and a proven track record of delivering excellent patient care. You will be responsible for leading a team of perfusionists and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical perfusion services to patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery
  • Lead a team of perfusionists and ensure that they are trained and equipped to provide high-quality care
  • Develop and implement perfusion protocols and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care
  • Collaborate with other members of the cardiothoracic surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in perfusion or a related field
  • Current registration with the Australian and New Zealand Board of Perfusion
  • Proven experience in perfusion and leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
