As a key member of our global team, you will play a vital role in delivering world-class sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.

With a strong focus on quality and safety, you will lead the Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (MEI) team on a major infrastructure project in Melbourne, ensuring that all aspects of the project meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Certification of MEI systems for rail, tunnel, and surface infrastructure projects.
  • Manage the delivery of projects to meet time, quality, and health and safety targets.
  • 15+ years of experience in MEI design and construction, with expertise in HV and LV substation installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Manage and coordinate Building Services installation and commissioning.
  • Review construction work lots and completion packages.
  • Review and respond to ITPs, RFIs, SIs, and Non-Conformance Reports.
  • Early identification of potential MEI design and construction-related issues.
  • Manage all aspects of the client relationship to ensure delivery meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Take a leadership role with the project team, providing direction and technical advice, and leading by example.
  • Mentor and coach junior project team members, fostering their growth and development within Arcadis.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs, identify opportunities for value-added solutions, and build long-term relationships that contribute to the growth and success of the business.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to translate the business strategy into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to develop Arcadis' client relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • RPEQ, CPEng.
  • Strong commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, including international conditions, and ability to take commercial responsibility for a project.
  • Experienced in leading and working with people from varied backgrounds and cultures.
