Allied Health Professionals Sought for Disability Inclusion Initiative

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Disability Inclusion Facilitator in the Brimbank Melton area.
We are seeking experienced allied health professionals to deliver training and support to students, teachers, and families.
- Facilitate meetings with schools and families
- Deliver training and support
- Collaborate with a team of professionals
To be successful you will have:
- A qualification as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist/Therapist or Psychologist
- Current AHPRA registration
- 5+ years of experience working in/with schools
- Extensive knowledge of child development, disabilities or learning challenges that students may experience
- Strong understanding of the principles of inclusion in education
- Understanding of a strengths-based approach
- Experience in group facilitation
- Permanent role
- Flexible working arrangements
- Training provided
- Ongoing support
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail combined with ability to work under pressure
- Ability to write reports
- Time management skills
- Computer skills
