Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver early intervention and therapy services aimed at promoting independence and participation for children and families.
  • Conduct assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate speech pathology interventions tailored to individual sensory, cognitive, and physical needs.
  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to provide therapy interventions and support.
  • Utilize evidence-informed practices to enhance therapy services for clients and NDIS participants, focusing on family and client strengths.
  • Encourage inclusion and participation of clients in community activities.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support in delivering quality services.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Eligibility for SPA registration.
  • Recent graduates or those graduating soon.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
  • Completion of National Police Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid, and CPR certification.
  • A solid understanding of the challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
