Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver early intervention and therapy services aimed at promoting independence and participation for children and families.
- Conduct assessments, develop, implement, and evaluate speech pathology interventions tailored to individual sensory, cognitive, and physical needs.
- Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to provide therapy interventions and support.
- Utilize evidence-informed practices to enhance therapy services for clients and NDIS participants, focusing on family and client strengths.
- Encourage inclusion and participation of clients in community activities.
- Engage with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and support in delivering quality services.
Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in Speech Pathology.
- Eligibility for SPA registration.
- Recent graduates or those graduating soon.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.
- Completion of National Police Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid, and CPR certification.
- A solid understanding of the challenges faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
