Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate documentation is completed for all goods entering and leaving the warehouse
  • Receive, store, and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock takes are coordinated and records are up-to-date
  • Perform monthly stock counts of inventory in stores and enter details into the Inventory System
  • Produce regular stock reports including usage and stock on hand
  • Maintain inventory system files and ensure data accuracy
  • Review and initiate purchase requisitions based on departmental policies and procedures
  • Distribute goods promptly to sub-stores or user departments
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and proper storage of goods
  • Secure all storage areas to prevent losses through environmental damage and pilfering
  • Authorise and account for returned goods to suppliers
  • Adhere to established purchasing procedures as detailed in the department's policies and procedures manual

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role is desirable
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items
  • Forklift or other equipment certification (preferred)
  • Understanding of safety protocols and airport security regulations
  • Ability to complete pre-employment medical assessments
  • Capable of lifting heavy items continuously (10-25kg)
  • Hold full working rights in Australia
  • Effective communication skills to interact with suppliers and managers
