Job Overview

This is a key role supporting procurement strategy, managing contracts, and ensuring vendor compliance.

As a Category Specialist, you'll contribute to the development of procurement strategies, tendering, contract negotiations, and documentation for all projects.

Manage vendor compliance and performance, lead smaller procurement projects from start to finish, and prepare monthly and quarterly team reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Identify and implement process improvements, deliver cost savings while meeting operational requirements, and ensure strategic alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategies.
  • Tendering, contract negotiations, and documentation for all projects.
  • Manage vendor compliance and performance.
  • Lead smaller procurement projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly team reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Deliver cost savings while meeting operational requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A degree in Commerce, Finance, Procurement or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year in a procurement/contract environment or 3+ years in office administration.
  • Experience with document management (preferred).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Full Australian working rights.
