Fleet Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fleet Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our taxi truck division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily running of the taxi truck division, ensuring efficient operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Allocate and monitor truck jobs, manage drivers and customers, and assist the Time Critical operations team in achieving an efficient model.
- Safely manage the taxi truck division with full compliance to WHS, COR, NHVR, and policy procedures.
- Effectively use all resources to achieve continuous business improvement while maintaining customer service.
The successful candidate will have a systematic and professional approach to best practices, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and basic knowledge of the Transport/Local Courier industry. They should also understand Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management principles.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of transport regulations and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
