Senior Financial Accountant Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, fast-growing organization. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for leading month-end and year-end reconciliations, consolidations, and financial reporting.

You will also support the Group Financial Controller and Group Reporting Manager in external audits and financial statement preparation. Additionally, you will own the Group's lease accounting in line with AASB 16 and contribute to tax compliance, including BAS preparation.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CA/CPA qualification or near completion.
  • Strong external audit background, ideal for a first-time mover from public practice.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with exposure to Power BI desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
