About BHP

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Mine Planning Specialist at Saraji Mine. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for providing clear direction to the execution teams through mine designs and schedules for the 0 to 12 week time frame for the truck & shovel fleets.

Using your solid mine planning skills and experience, you will develop effective working relationships with the operational teams to ensure the efficient execution of your plans and schedules. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing Production Planning improvement initiatives and utilising tools in mine planning to ensure safe operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary education background in Civil Engineering (or another engineering discipline) with previous experience working on job sites. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and communicate at all levels.
