Investment Accountant Job Overview

We are seeking an Investment Accountant to join our team, focusing on managing investment accounting for IFM products and investments.

  • Prepare timely and accurate Net Asset Values and Unit Prices.
  • Record transactions in fund accounting systems.
  • Perform cash and position reconciliations where required.
  • Preparation and review of information for investors.
  • Preparation of financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Assist with statutory reporting for compliance.
  • Assist with tax reporting and payments.
  • Assist with take-on and transition of additional investment accounting functions.
  • Support various initiatives including trade and transaction settlements and reconciliations.
Requirements

Typically 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly investment accounting, is required.

A tertiary qualification in law, commerce, economics, finance, or a related field is essential.

CA/CPA qualifications (or working towards) are also required.

This role requires significant financial knowledge and skills.
