About the PositionThis is a newly created General Manager position, reporting to the Group General Manager – Fencing Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitability and sustainable growth, overseeing all aspects of operations, including safety, productivity, quality assurance, supply chain management, and projects.
The company has a strong existing team and culture, and the GM will build on this foundation to facilitate further growth and streamline current systems and processes.
About the PersonThe ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a General Manager or similar senior leader, ideally from aligned sectors such as civil construction, fencing construction, fabrication, or heavy industry.
They will have demonstrated experience in project delivery and safety management, complemented by commercial acumen and contemporary leadership skills to enhance profitability and productivity while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
The GM will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring managers, ensuring the implementation of safety systems, and identifying business growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will foster a positive work environment characterised by trust, effective communication, and collaboration, all while ensuring the company meets its strategic and operational objectives.
