Our company is seeking a skilled upholsterer to join our production team. As one of the largest commercial upholstery companies in Australia, we supply major brands in the automotive and heavy transport industries.

About Us

We are a leading manufacturer based in a modern complex with nine factories in Kilsyth, employing over 135 staff. We value our positive culture and are looking for someone who shares these aspects.

Working Environment

We maintain a positive environment by working Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, with occasional Friday long weekends. Each role is crucial to achieving our daily production requirements and ensuring customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete upholstering duties as directed
- Cutting, measuring, fitting and sewing with canvas, leather
- Use various tools necessary to complete job
- Some machine operator tasks

Requirements:

- Excellent computer skills (machine operation and devices knowledge)
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good time management & communication skills.
- Drives for results, shows initiative and enthusiasm.
- Good problem solving skills, ability to make timely decisions exercising good judgment.
- Excellent reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience using hand tools
- General factory experience working in a fast paced environment
- Able to read and speak good English
- Basic computer knowledge essential
