Community Engagement Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Community Engagement Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in community development and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective community engagement strategies to foster collaboration and proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Design and deliver initiatives that create lasting social benefits for the local community, such as education, employment, and training programs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with local councils, government authorities, Indigenous groups, environmental organizations, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Sustainability, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or social responsibility programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver community-centered initiatives that generate long-term social value.
  • Familiarity with Victorian regional communities, including their challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience working with Indigenous groups and facilitating culturally inclusive practices.
  • Excellent communications skills, including negotiation and influencing abilities, and the capacity to establish effective working relationships with diverse individuals at various levels both internally and externally.
