Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Operating Theatre Technician to join our surgical team. As an integral part of the healthcare delivery, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms and equipment, assisting with patient transfers and positioning, and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning to minimize risk and promote safe care.
- Maintain safety and quality standards in the operating theatre environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Successful candidates will possess a Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Technical Support) or equivalent qualification. You will also require excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
