In this role, you will be expected to demonstrate leadership by Leading Others to help drive positive change.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day works programs and operations within the Cape Le Grand National Park.
  • Assist with the management of other lands and waters managed by the department within the Esperance District.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in leading, supervising and managing teams, empowering individuals to work with confidence both in teams and independently to deliver agreed outcomes and priorities.

You will also need to have evidence of well-developed oral and interpersonal skills and experience in building and maintaining networks; liaising with the public, commercial tourism operators, community groups, special interest groups (including indigenous groups) and other stakeholders; and in patrol and enforcement procedures.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about conservation and has a strong track record of delivering results.

You will need to have a current Working with Children Check and a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check.
