Financial Analysis Position

The Financial Analyst will partner with business leaders to enhance financial performance, support strategic decision making and implement growth initiatives.

  • Work closely with business leaders to improve financial outcomes and support informed decision making.
  • Ensure commercial arrangements adhere to a robust financial model and decision-making framework.
  • Support pricing strategy by delivering efficient pricing to improve quality of earnings on all products across the portfolio.
  • Contribute to investment decisions by constructing business cases with integrated financial models.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner on various tasks, including month-end commentary and monthly management reporting.
  • Forward-looking assessment and challenge of projected business performance.
  • Drive disciplines and approach for ongoing portfolio reviews.
  • Support the business to conduct analysis of market growth/share, ensuring a detailed understanding of the competitor landscape.
Requirements
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
  • Be a professional with a relevant qualification (CA or CPA).
  • Have experience in commercial finance, pricing or analytical roles within an experienced product-based industry.
  • Possess advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and working knowledge using data analytics tools.
  • Demonstrate high commercial acumen with superior attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and experience in an analysis role.
  • Have experience in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
