Job Overview

A senior leadership position is available to oversee the operations of our stores.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing retail environments, preferably within the not-for-profit or charity sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize store performance.
  • Lead weekly discussions with store managers to share resources, set priorities, and monitor progress.
  • Support store managers in staff rostering, training, development, donations management, volunteer coordination, local marketing, store sales, and seasonal promotions.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to store managers to maximize team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with established retail standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stores are properly resourced and supported.
  • Analyse reports to inform strategic commercial decisions that drive growth and manage controllable costs effectively.
  • Promote effective sharing of resources, staff, and stock to operate at optimal efficiency.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for creating meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disability.
  • Significant experience in retail management, preferably within the not-for-profit or charity sector.
  • Excellent financial acumen and ability to interpret and utilise data.
  • A keen eye for detail and focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a valid driver's licence.
  • Cert IV or similar in Retail Management and a degree in Business Management or similar.
