Job Opportunity in Obstetric Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registrar within Obstetric Medicine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality clinical services in Obstetric Medicine to patients and colleagues alike.
  • Participating in a seven-day roster, including after-hours as required.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to teaching and participating in associated research projects.

The total term of employment will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 6- or 12-month Obstetrics Medicine Registrar allocation will be determined in line with your training and requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
  • Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • At least 2 years satisfactory experience as a Medical Registrar in a recognized teaching hospital.
  • Strong communication skills with patients, their relatives, and other staff.
