About the Role

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a skilled Operational Technology Cybersecurity Engineer to join its team. As an OT Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for protecting the company's rapidly expanding global enterprise from cyber threats.

You will conduct risk/vulnerability assessments, develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, and lead the implementation of ICS/OT systems. Your responsibilities will also include research, classification, and root cause analysis of security events, as well as staying up-to-date with current and emerging vulnerabilities and threats.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks for ICS/OT environments, OT network communication protocols, and industrial networking topologies. They will also possess comprehensive knowledge of internet protocols, firewalls, proxies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting cyber mission dependency, criticality, mission failure, and adversary cyberattack scenario analyses
  • Researching, developing, operationalizing, evaluating, and improving OT defensive tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Collaborating with different departments to remediate and validate remediation of vulnerabilities or identified issues
  • Maintaining and creating documentation as needed
  • Performing assessments against best practices and industry benchmarks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related focused technical training
  • 3 years of experience performing security assessments in an OT environment
  • Strong understanding of OT network communication protocols and industrial networking topologies
  • Familiarity with NIST Special Publication 800-61 Revision 2, Computer Security Incident Handling Guide
  • Certifications such as GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID) are preferable
