Logistics Support Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background in engineering and technical standards, with extensive experience in developing and maintaining logistics support analyses.

This role involves planning, developing, reviewing, and maintaining electronic databases and document products associated with UAS logistics support analyses. Advanced engineering technical standards, principles, and techniques will be applied to implement these through the development, maintenance, measurement, and continuous improvement of logistics support analysis processes, procedures, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain logistics support analyses for UAS product lines and other products as identified.
  • Apply advanced engineering technical standards, principles, and techniques to implement logistics support analysis processes, procedures, and tools.
  • Lead development of core product line and project/customer-specific LSA data and document products.
  • Update LSA records, data, and documented products based on internal/external reviews, source data changes, equipment modifications, and customer improvement requests.
  • Hold Engineering Authority (EA) and conduct authoritative reviews of completed LSA elements for overall technical accuracy and customer format standards/specifications.
  • Analyse Product Support requirements to determine project scope and deliverables.
  • Estimate the impact of the proposal or changes to the LSA products and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Engineering degree in a discipline relating to product support.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret aerospace systems and associated technical information.
  • Extensive experience with definition, set-to-work, and operation of Product Support and life-cycle analysis-related business systems.
  • Expertise in collecting, organising, synthesising, and analysing data; summarising findings; developing conclusions and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of research tools and methods to gather needed data.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
