Early Years Educator

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an individual who is passionate about early childhood education.

The successful applicant will be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their school journey, creating a safe and engaging environment that fosters learning and development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and colleagues.
  • Complying with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures, and Requirements.
  • Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
  • Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
  • SUPPORTING A CULTURE OF REFLECTIVE PRACTICE AND ONGOING CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • A permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • An ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • An enthusiasm and positive attitude.
  • Flexible availability.
  • An interest in early years education.
  • A Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) (or be willing to receive).
