The RoleWe are seeking a WHS Graduate to join our team as a Safety Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to kick-start their career in Workplace Health and Safety.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in site safety inspections to ensure project activities are conducted in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Implement WHS strategies and initiatives to promote a safety-first culture within the organization.
- Document and assist in WHS investigations and incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Conduct WHS audits and report on findings to identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor of OHS, Diploma in WHS, Certificate IV in WHS, or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new IT systems.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination.
