Job Title: Medical Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced casual Medical Receptionist to join our team at O'Connor. As the face of our organisation, you will deliver exceptional patient care and service to our patients, referrers, and community.

Responsibilities:

* Represent Apex Radiology as the first point of contact for patients and visitors
* Answer telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries in a professional and sensitive manner
* Make patient bookings and maximise appointment slots
* Inform patients of relevant preparation, costing estimates, and requirements for concession cards
* Action patient referrals as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Requirements:

* Self-motivated with a patient-first approach
* Passion for quality patient care and the healthcare industry
* Previous medical receptionist experience using patient entry or bookings systems
* Excellent communication skills to build rapport with patients, referrers, and staff
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Keen eye for detail to ensure accurate data entry into our RIS system and EFTPOS
* Proven competency with technology and ability to use multiple platforms simultaneously
