Job Overview:

The role of Project Manager is a high-visibility position responsible for leading the delivery of industrial projects in Melbourne's west.

  • End-to-end project management from inception to commissioning, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Strategic planning, coordination, and management of multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Effective oversight of scheduling, cost control, procurement, quality assurance, and risk mitigation processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards across all project phases.
  • Primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, authorities, and subcontractors.
  • Regular reporting on project progress, budget performance, and milestone achievements.

Required Expertise & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing industrial or commercial construction projects in Victoria.
  • Strong budget and time management capabilities, ideally demonstrated on projects within the $10-25 million range.
  • Proficiency in project controls, contract administration, and quality frameworks is essential.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Sound understanding of Victorian building regulations and HSE requirements is necessary.
  • Tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering, or equivalent fields are preferred.
