Key Responsibilities

  • Bring state-of-the-art machine learning models from concept to production.
  • Design and build innovative machine learning and algorithmic solutions, API services, and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
  • Maintain and improve existing feature implementations using statistical methods.
  • Coach and support more junior colleagues.

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science or comparable work experience.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in machine learning/AI in a commercial environment.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (C# a plus).
  • Experience building and evaluating production-ready machine learning models.
  • Knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or other popular frameworks.
  • Transformers, Large Language Models, and SOTA models highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to junior colleagues and non-technical individuals.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $140,000 - $160,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications. WiseTech Global offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
