About the Role
The Senior Quality Governance Professional will provide leadership in relation to quality processes to inform improvement. This includes the effective delivery, development, and evaluation of the GH Governance Framework.
This role will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to develop and implement systems and processes for safe, effective person-centered connected care.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor a comprehensive governance framework consistent with regulatory requirements; lead organisational reviews and annual review of the Governance Framework.
- Actively promote, manage, and support the use of the GH audit schedule.
- Ensure quality, integrated systems and processes are embedded, consistent with legislation, quality and safety frameworks.
- Oversee the functionality and use of the GH audit platform.
- Provide education and support for staff to effectively use electronic tools.
- Provide high-quality data sets to operational, governance, and Board committees to advise on quality and safety performance.
- Develop contemporary evidence-based governance documentation such as policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with staff and consumers to ensure systems and processes are in place, consistent with best practice, strategic directions, and governance frameworks.
Salary Information
We offer an attractive salary package ranging from $95,000 to $115,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A qualification as a Registered Professional is essential.
- AHPRA registration is also required.
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications in Quality and Practice Improvement or working towards are preferred.
- Proven experience in developing governance frameworks to improve efficiency and practice.
- Extensive experience in applying systematic thinking to clinical practice across various settings to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Experience in co-design and partnership.
