Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled glazier/aluminium installer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on craftsmanship and is passionate about delivering exceptional quality glass and aluminium solutions.

As a glazier/aluminium installer, you will be responsible for installing and fitting glass into windows, doors, shopfronts, and other glazing systems. You will also carry out repairs and replacements for damaged glass panes and work with a variety of commercial and architectural glazing systems.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the industry, be confident in using a range of hand and power tools, and possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements. They will also be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials, as well as understanding workplace safety and glass handling guidelines.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Installing and fitting glass into windows, doors, shopfronts, and other glazing systems
  • Carrying out repairs and replacements for damaged glass panes
  • Working with a variety of commercial and architectural glazing systems
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and presentation on-site
  • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience as a glazier/aluminium installer or window fixer
  • Confidence in using a range of hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials
  • Understanding of workplace safety and glass handling guidelines
  • A current driver's licence and reliable transport
