Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Energy Control Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global operations, you will be responsible for providing expert support services to our customers across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.

About the Role:
This position involves working closely with our customers to design, implement, and commission energy control solutions tailored to their specific needs. You will also play a crucial role in pre-sales support and customer liaison, ensuring that project specifications and expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide frontline technical support to resolve issues related to DEIF products
  • Develop bespoke customer applications
  • Create high-level single line diagrams
  • Support customer commissioning in the field and remotely
  • Maintain and update product knowledge of all DEIF products

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is customer-focused and results-driven, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong capacity to identify and define issues clearly, and make decisions about potential solutions based on 'best fit' for the customer and business.

Requirements:
  • University degree in electrical engineering or 2-3+ years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of PLC or microprocessor-based controls, software, and logic
  • Ability to read and program ANSI C software (an advantage)
  • Knowledge of microgrids, power generation control, and protection of power distribution systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Experience in fault finding and servicing genset controllers (a plus)
  • Fluency in English and possession of a current Australian driver's license
  • Right to work in Australia
